The medical professionals in Greater Gainesville are some of the best in the country. We are so fortunate that our community and many surrounding communities recognize this. People commute from hours away to get their medical care here.

As a doctor in Greater Gainesville for the past 20 years, I love the diverse population and the variety of clientele we have in our practice. I enjoy delivering medical care to all ages, races and genders, and thrive on the wonderful patient interactions I get to have each and every day.

When I moved to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida College of Medicine, I did not think small towns had much to offer. I quickly found out how wrong I was.

I appreciate all of the amazing opportunities that Greater Gainesville has available for my family. My children attend a fantastic school, where they are able to thrive academically while being able to participate in both the arts and athletics. We never have a dull moment.

When we are not attending basketball games for my son or music concerts for my daughter, we love to enjoy all the activities Greater Gainesville has to offer. From supporting our Gators in The Swamp to checking out the newest productions at the Hippodrome, we keep our weekends full and fabulous.

We also love grabbing pastry and coffee from our local Upper Crust Bakery and taking our two dogs, Buddy and Chewy, on a walk around the neighborhood in Oakmont. One of my favorite things to do in Greater Gainesville is dine out. I love catching up with friends over lunch at Local Provisions or Blue Highway. Dinner dates often consist of us enjoying a cocktail at Spurrier’s before indulging in our favorite oysters at Prime & Pearl.  If we save enough room, nothing beats the decadent confections at Kilwin’s.
