Get Out and Vote!

HOW TO REGISTER: Register to vote or update your current registration at registertovoteflorida.gov or inperson at the Alachua County Supervisor of Elections office. You can update the registration record at any time. For a primary election, party changes must be made 29 days before the election. Learn more about who is eligible and what identification is needed to register at votealachua.com.

■ DEADLINE TO REGISTER TO VOTE: 29 days before any election

■ FIND YOUR PRECINCT: To find your voting precinct with your address, use the Supervisor of Elections’ database at votealachua.com/Voter-Information/ Precinct-Finder.

■ VOTE EARLY: Avoid Election Day rush with Early Voting. Early Voting begins no later than 10 days before the election, and may begin up to 15 days before the election that contains state or federal races.

■ VOTE BY MAIL: Any registered voter may vote by mail. Those living in Alachua county temporarily, but are a registered voter in another county or state should request Vote-By-Mail ballot from county or state registered in. Absentee ballot information can be found at votealachua.com/Voter-Information/ Vote-By-Mail.

Commission: Meets second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 9 a.m. in Board of County Commissioner’s building. School board: Meets first and third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in Boardroom at Kirby-Smith, 620 E University Ave.

2.City of Alachua

Commission: Meets second and fourth Monday of each month at 6 p.m. in James A. Lewis Commission Chambers building.

3.City of Archer

Commission: Meets every second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. in City Hall building.

4.City of Gainesville

Commission: Meets first and third Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. in City Commission Auditorium.

School Board: Meets first and third Tuesdays of each month at 6 p.m. in the Boardroom at the District Office.

5.City of Hawthorne

Commission: Meets first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m in City Hall building.

6.City of High Springs

Commission: Meets second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in City Hall building.
