BANCF Spring Parade of Homes

On April 15-16 and April 22-23, the Builders Association of North Central Florida (BANCF) will host the 65th annual Spring Parade of HomesTM. The annual event is an opportunity for members of the community to learn about the latest developments in the housing industry. Homes will be available to tour throughout Greater Gainesville. Admission is free and open to the public from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Since 1958, the Parade of HomesTM has featured over 2,000 brand new homes in over 300 neighborhoods throughout Alachua County. Builders, subcontractors, developers, designers, lenders and suppliers combine their talents to show the community the best in the business.

In addition to prospective homebuyers, current homeowners looking for remodeling ideas can benefit from attending. The tour includes the newest home design and décor trends, and the most up-to-date energy saving construction techniques.

BANCF Executive Officer and Training Director for Apprenticeship, Sara Emmanuel, says participants will be able to see “the latest and greatest new materials” from tile and countertops to appliances and smart technology.

“The Spring Parade of HomesTM is an ideal time to have one-on-one conversations with builders and remodelers. You can learn what their capabilities are to customize a home or renovation to meet your family’s needs,” Emmanuel said.

Forbes.com recently ranked Gainesville second on their list of the Best Places to Live in Florida in 2022.  The GG housing market continues to attract out-of-town buyers.

Spring Parade of HomesTM Chair Kara Bolton, of Kara Bolton Homes, said the local builders participating offer high quality construction in high quality neighborhoods. All are heavily invested in the community.

Gainesville Realtor Tiffany Thomas of Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate Thomas Group said the event is a chance to discover and explore new neighborhoods in the area.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to see firsthand the superior craftsmanship of AR Homes and Spain & Cooper Homes,” said Thomas. “Buyers can get a feel for the exceptional quality of the luxury custom home builders in Alachua County.”

2023 Spring Parade of HomesTM participants include GW Homes, Hartley Brothers, Inc., AR Homes, Tommy Waters Custom Homes, Warring Homes, Dibros Design & Construction, Emmer Development, Spain & Cooper Homes, Norfleet Construction, Inc, and Viking Construction Company of Florida, LLC.
