The Parade of Homes™, presented by the Builders Association of North Central Florida, is one of our community’s favorite events. Now in its 58th year, the Parade of Homes™ has showcased over 1700 homes in 250 beautiful neighborhoods throughout Alachua County, allowing visitors the opportunity to see the latest in home innovation, the best in neighborhood design and the newest in energy efficiency technology.
This year, there is a wide variety of housing styles, locations and price options with 28 new homes in over 20 different neighborhoods.
Many of the homes showcased in this year’s parade are equipped with the newest energy-efficient technology. The level of green technology varies from home to home, but most homes feature tankless water heaters, water-saving dual flush toilets and various energy-efficient kitchen appliances.
The interiors of the homes are also designed in line with the newest, most popular trends. Several of the homes have wood floors, open floor plans, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, which give homes a more modern, overall clean look.
The featured exterior designs are varied, so there are homes for every taste with styles ranging from Mediterranean to Craftsman.
