What about Greater Gainesville stood out when comparing it to your other options?
When I was here as an undergraduate, I remember thinking how nice I thought it would be to raise children here. It was less hectic than a major city but still had lots of things to do.
What is your favorite local food?
My favorite dish in Gainesville is the Taste’s Chicken Pad Thai! It’s ridiculously good. I love the squash and blueberries locally grown here, as well.
Describe your ideal day in Greater Gainesville.
My ideal day would be going to brunch at Francesca’s and then heading off to the local fall craft show in Micanopy with friends. After that, probably having a cup of tea and a cupcake at Patticakes in Haile Plantation with my family then going to Tioga for outdoor music in the evening.
