Where Florida Stands in New Ranking of Best States for Business
Chief Executive Magazine, a business publication designed to help U.S. CEOs and corporate directors grow their companies and build communities released it’s Best and Worst States for Business Rankings. Now in its 16th year, CE ranked Florida No. 2 on its 2020 list. Florida was second only to Texas on the list, which is available here. The magazine cited Florida’s strong economy, fast-growing metropolitan areas, and corporate expansions. One key program highlighted was Enterprise Florida’s Export Concierge Service. This service is a program that provides an array of services to support export opportunities for Florida-based businesses. It offers an array of services, from customized market research to business matchmaking and appointment setting with prospective partners and distributors. UF graduate Jamal Sowell is the President/CEO of Enterprise Florida. There are 19 Fortune 500 companies headquartered in the state of Florida.
This is the ninth consecutive year Florida has come in at #2.
