Trinity United Methodist Church Presents Pace Center for Girls with Brand-New Computers

The Pace Center for Girls in Alachua will be more plugged into the community than ever, thanks to Trinity United Methodist Church and the kindness of others this past Christmas.

Every Christmas Eve, Trinity United Methodist Church fulfills their vision of doing good for the community by asking others to donate to a Gainesville-based organization. This year, Trinity chose Pace. More specifically, the church helped fulfill the nonprofit Pace’s mission to outfit their classrooms with more computers.

Trinity presented Pace a large check on Monday, Jan. 24 that is perfectly fitting for the generous donation. More than $24,000 was raised to provide all 35 of Pace’s Alachua students with brand-new computers.

The response moved Trinity United Methodist Church.

“We are so thankful for the outpouring of love for this organization,” they said. “We could not have done this without our church and the community who attended our Christmas service. We want as many folks to know about the amazing work (Pace Center) is doing for at-promise girls in our community.”
