Purpose 20: Studio32 Orthodontics

The Center for Leadership and Service at the University of Florida created the Purpose 20 Awards to honor the contributions made to Alachua County by local for-profit businesses. These 20 businesses provide invaluable cash and in-kind donations while supporting the community with efforts in environmental sustainability, serving as role models for change within the community and encouraging staff members to give their time to local causes. All of this work often goes unrecognized. The Center for Leadership and Service hopes that by recognizing these businesses, we inspire others through their example and demonstrate that business is about more than making a profit — it is also about having a purpose to build a better community.

“With good fortune comes social responsibility; being blessed in my own life, it is my obligation to share that with others, spreading joy from one human to another”
– Nicole Mullally, owner

Studio32 Orthodontics has been in practice for nearly three years, and it is committed to creating beautiful smiles in Alachua County not only through orthodontics but also through charitable acts. The company is a start-up practice, yet it has given over $4,000 in cash sponsorship each year. Furthermore, it is the proud title sponsor for LifeSouth’s Kids Marathon and continues to be a proud supporter of the Child Advocacy Center, Tyler’s Hope, PACE Center for Girls and many other local organizations. Owner Nicole Mullally also donates her time and energy to serving on the Child Advocacy Center’s board of directors. Community involvement has always been a part of Studio32’s mission, and the organization has been fortunate enough to have a team that fully embraces that. Furthermore, they are preparing to launch their pro-bono program to donate free services to those in need. Studio32 continues to make Alachua County a better community, one smile at a time.
