Whether through the abundance of museums, galleries, live entertainment, murals, graffiti walls or other public art displays, Greater Gainesville shows no shortage of artistic talent. With many arts festivals held in the spring, local artists can display their work, engage with the community, build relationships and keep their traditions and mediums alive.
While some arts festivals in GG are new to the calendar, others are an anticipated annual occurrence. Between March and May, residents and tourists can attend any of the many local arts festivals to learn more about the talented artists who call GG home. For those who want to further indulge in the art scene, check out the Harn Museum of Arts, Thomas Center Galleries, the streets of downtown or even attend the monthly Artwalk Gainesville. For those visiting the year-round art displays or attending one of the many spring arts festivals, Greater Gainesville offers something for all art enthusiasts to enjoy.
