HELPING OUR TALENT OF ALL AGES MEET THEIR POTENTIAL

Chamber, we are committed to helping ensure all residents, from 0 to retirement age, receive the education and skills development they need to reach their full potential.

Gainesville Loves The Gators: Stay In The Game! is a new initiative designed to instill a sense of belonging and pride in our Alachua County elementary school students while targeting the issue of chronic absenteeism.

Career Discoveries helps high school students gain access to and connect with over 120 companies that showcase career opportunities and pathways to inspire a future they can work toward.

InternshipGNV is a bridge between businesses and our region’s 75,000 college students to help align talent for now and the future.

Greater Gainesville Young Professionals is a program designed just for locals aged 21-39 to develop professionally, personally and economically while creating lasting connections.

Inclusive Gainesville is a holistic, community-wide initiative to build a more equitable and inclusive community for everyone in our region using digital tools, personal connections and a minority business accelerator.

PAVING THE WAY FOR THE FUTURE

The Greater Gainesville Chamber offers a wealth of options to help our members connect and collaborate, and we are committed to care and advocate for our existing businesses while looking for and attracting the new businesses that will enhance the opportunities in our region.

The role for which chambers of commerce are best known—networking—is one we enthusiastically embrace with high-quality events and conferences. Hardly a week goes by without an opportunity to meet and greet the people who run and work at the incredible variety of businesses we have locally.

The longest running leadership program in the state lives right here in Gainesville. Leadership Gainesville, or LG, is a 10-month program that helps our businesspeople with the skills they need to grow their impact in the community. Upon graduating from LG, leaders carry the relationships they develop forward through the Leadership Gainesville Alumni Association (LGAA).

AI Central is a Greater Gainesville Chamber-led initiative designed to establish North Central Florida as an international hub for artificial intelligence (AI). In collaboration with the University of Florida’s effort to produce an AI-literate workforce across all University disciplines, AI Central brings together private industry, academia and public policy makers. The initiative is already bearing fruit, as several AI companies have recently located in Gainesville.
