United Way of North Central Florida will hold an announcement event for the ‘Get Your Gator On’ United Downtown 2013 event series. The event series, now in its third season, will continue to be a free downtown street party on Friday nights before home UF football games. United Downtown 2013 has been infused with new energy and community-wide collaboration. The event series will feature enhancements such as a DJ from Gainesville’s very own Grooveshark and live music each week at the outdoor beer garden. The O2BKids! play zone will return bigger and better than ever.

WHERE: Inside the Hippodrome Theatre
WHO: Debbie Mason, United Way of North Central Florida president and CEO, will unveil the details of each week and highlight new and exciting event features at the announcement. City and county leaders and community partners will be part of the program.
