Kendall Spencer has been elected Executive Vice President, Senior Commercial Banker by the board of directors of Florida Citizens Bank.
Before joining Florida Citizens Bank, Spencer held various banking positions throughout Florida. He was state president for Mercantile Bank and worked with Barnett Bank Inc., as Corporate Director of Business Banking, President of Barnett Bank of Lake County, President of Barnett Bank of Pasco County and Senior Commercial Banker for Barnett Bank of Alachua County. Most recently he has consulted and worked with several banks on projects as well as providing litigation support as a bank expert in lending liability lawsuits.
Spencer is married to Sylvia Morgan Spencer, originally from Gainesville, and they have two married daughters. He has been active in the communities in which he lived, and currently serves on the board of Family First and Jacksonville City Rescue Mission. Locally, he is a graduate of the University of Florida, Leadership Gainesville 13, Past President of the Y.M.C.A., and a past member of the Gator City Kiwanis Club.
