What is something you wish you knew before moving here?

For a small town, traffic can be a beast.

When friends or family come to visit, where is the first place you take them?

I have had several family and friends visit since I’ve been here. Of course, the first thing they want to do is go to a game. With the kids, of course, we go to amusement parks. With adults, we usually go downtown.

What is your favorite time of year and/or favorite weather conditions?

Many years ago, I worked in Jacksonville, so I was used to the afternoon rains, but I’m a fall girl … summer in the swamp is no joke.
