UF Health Shands Cancer Hospital
UF Health Shands Cancer Hospital opened in November 2009. The 500,000-square-foot facility includes 192 licensed beds for a wide variety of patients, including those receiving diagnostic and therapeutic oncology services. Located across Archer Road from UF Health Shands Hospital, the facility offers advanced resources for a wide range of oncology, surgery, critical care and emergency/trauma patients.The hospital also features the Marshall M. and Paula P. Criser Jr. Cancer Resource Center, designed to promote patient education and wellness. Patients and families can stay connected to family and friends through computers with free internet access, and find up-to-date information about treatment, recovery and how to cope with bereavement.

UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital
UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital is a hospital-within-a-hospital on the UF Health Shands Hospital campus, where UF physicians treat patients from throughout Florida and all over the U.S. The UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital represents the only quaternary-care academic pediatric center in North Florida. UF physicians offer some of the most specialized pediatric programs for the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of complex conditions. The hospital has 167 beds, including fully equipped pediatric and neonatal intensive care units. Adjacent to the children’s hospital is the UF Health Shands Pediatric E.R.

UF Health Heart & Vascular Hospital
The hospital opened in 2017 with the latest features designed to meet cardiology patients’ needs. There are 72 private ICU rooms equipped with patient lifts, bedside dialysis and surgical procedure lights to lessen the need to move patients. Also, the hospital has 48 private medical/surgical inpatient rooms with accommodations for family, including specially designed furniture, such as a tabletop and sofa bed. Hybrid ORs enable surgical teams to accommodate several different procedures simultaneously. Patients with complex conditions do not need to be transported to different locations to undergo lifesaving surgeries or advanced imaging. A heart station enables the team to provide noninvasive cardiac testing for outpatients of the clinical practice as well as for inpatients. Mobile cardiac patients can also enjoy the hospital’s terraces and outdoor spaces, thanks to remote-monitoring telemetry.

Opened in 2017, the UF Health Neuromedicine Hospital is built around the needs of the patient and designed with safety and efficiency in mind. Patients have streamlined access to highly specialized, comprehensive outpatient treatment options and inpatient services in one location for neurological conditions. They also benefit from outstanding faculty physicians and clinical experts collaborating in a world-class medical facility. The UF Health Psychiatric Hospital is located on a private, picturesque, 18-acre campus that offers comfort and serenity to people in crisis requiring behavioral care.The 81-bed facility provides a full range of confidential, quality services, including treatment for addiction, memory disorders, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, eating disorders and a wide range of other conditions. Established in 1987, the hospital consists of a child/adolescent unit, an adult inpatient addiction unit, two adult inpatient psychiatric units and a geriatric psychiatry unit. The hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and has Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
