7. What is your greatest professional accomplishment? Assembling a diverse top-caliber team at the
Gainesville Chamber that is already improving our community through public policy, economic
development, Innovation Gainesville, Leadership Gainesville and many other ways.
8. How do you exemplify the spirit of a Forty Under 40 professional? America’s next generation of
leaders are emerging with certain life experiences that have shaped our views. The America that
emerges from this decade (plus) of challenges, partisanship and war must be one that can compete in
the global economy for the next 50 years. I am striving to be one of those young leaders that help
establish a model for how America can thrive in this new economy.

15.If I had a magic wand, I’d: Take my beautiful wife and 3 young children traveling around the world

18.What do you love most about Gainesville/Alachua County? Vibrant economy, startup community, great
family-friendly lifestyle, UF cultural events, Gator sports and natural surroundings
19.Three things people would be surprised to know about you: Sarah and I have been married nearly 10
years; I can still hit an 85 mph fastball; I once drove a yellow Ford Mustang
