Born in Jamaica, amid political uncertainty, her family moved to the United States when she was 12 years old. Dr. Sarantos attended the University of Miami and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then moved to Gainesville and attended the University of Florida for both medical school and Pediatric residency. Dr. Sarantos has always had a strong passion for helping others. Coupled with her affinity for medicine, she has been serving the Gainesville community for almost 20 years.
