Patrick Pirkle, DMD

Cosmetic and Family Dentistry

Business Description: Providing Gainesville and neighboring communities with the best dental services possible with genuine enthusiasm, warmth, and commitment to quality.

Name and Role in Business: Patrick Pirkle, DMD, Owner

What is the best thing about owning your own business?

I don’t have to be pressured by a corporation or boss to keep up with a daily production or profit amount. Instead, my focus is 100 percent on each patient’s individual needs. I take great pride in my relationships with my patients; that’s what makes what I do well worth it.

What sets your business apart from others in the industry?

Our patients are our family; our office maintains a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and we are genuinely happy to see our patients walk through our door each day. We also understand that not everyone wants to take off work just to go to the dentist, so we offer Friday and Saturday hours that are convenient for everyone.

I’m a third-generation dentist, and I’ve always had a passion to work with my hands and help people in my community. Dentistry has always been the perfect fit for me.

How are you and your team making a difference in Gainesville?

Most people don’t know that our office works hard to give back to local and global charities. For example, many children in our community do not have access to hygiene items, so we partnered with United Way to collect new, unopened toothbrushes through December 31. Please take part! Drop-off is at our office, Wednesday through Saturday from 8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Saturday until 1 p.m.).

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Dragonfly sushi.
