Ossi, Withers & Harrison: Assisting clients with a wide range of legal issues.

Ossi, Withers & Harrison prides itself on putting their clients at ease, and simplifying legal concepts so they can make wise business decisions for their business and families.

“A big part of an attorney’s job is to explain options in plain English,” explained attorney Richard Withers, a shareholder in the firm. “Our firm places a high emphasis on straightforward and responsive communication.”

Withers, who practices primarily in the areas of tax planning, business transactions and business succession planning, encourages business owners to reach out to Ossi, Withers & Harrison whenever they are making changes — including starting a new business, making ownership of management changes to an existing business, purchasing or selling a business or developing a succession plan.

Susan Ossi founded the Ossi Law Firm in 2008 as a boutique estate planning practice. In the summer of 2015, Withers, along with Ossi’s long-time associate McCabe Harrison joined as shareholders and the firm was renamed Ossi, Withers & Harrison, P.A. The firm also brought in two experienced litigators, Katherine L. Floyd and Nicolas B. Harvey.

In addition to Withers’ business and tax practice, Ossi, Harrison and Floyd practice in the areas of estate planning, wills, trusts, probate and trust administration. Ossi is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in Wills, Trusts, and Estates Law, and several of the firm’s attorneys have an LL.M. in Taxation (a graduate degree earned after law school focusing on tax, business and estate planning topics).

In addition to the firm’s transactional work, Floyd and Harvey handle civil litigation matters including commercial, property, probate and trust litigation matters. Floyd also maintains a strong landlord/tenant practice.

“We understand that every client’s legal problem – whether it involves their money, property, business or inheritance – is a unique one that deserves the attention of a skilled and experienced attorney.” Harvey said. “That is the type of representation we provide.”
