Chris Cupoli Named Senior Director of Membership and Philanthropy at UFAA
Chris Cupoli recently joined the University of Florida Alumni Association (UFAA) team as the senior director of membership and philanthropy. He will oversee the membership and philanthropy initiative, connecting Gator alumni to UF’s push to become a top ten public university. Chris is dedicated to translating the passion and enthusiasm of the Gator Nation into steadfast support of the university and its alumni association.
Chris has contributed to the success of the University of Florida for 16 years in various occupations. A double Gator, Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in health science education as well as a Master of Business Administration from UF. He also received a Master of Science in higher education administration from Florida State University.
When asked about his decision to join the UFAA, Cupoli said, “UF Alumni are committed and driven, and we need to help them connect with the university in new and meaningful ways. This is an exciting opportunity to continue growing and strengthening the Gator Nation.”
Hongtao Liu Joins Bosshardt Realty Services as Founding Member of Global Division
In late December, Bosshardt Realty Services, LLC announced that Hongtao Liu joined the company as a founding member of the company’s new Global Division.
Liu’s expertise includes marketing, presentation, negotiation and sales. He was recruited for both his leadership in the Chinese industry and his overall understanding of company’s core values.
“We are very excited to have Hongtao join our team,” said company President Aaron Bosshardt. “He is an honest innovator who puts the customer first.”
SumTotal Systems Names Hardeep Gulati CEO
Hardeep Gulati was appointed chief executive officer of the HR solution company SumTotal in early January.
The company’s former chief operating officer has played a key leadership role in the deployment of numerous product development and customer satisfaction initiatives since joining the company in 2011. As CEO, Gulati plans to accelerate the adoption of SumTotal’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) and Talent Expansion TM solutions, which are designed to improve employee engagement and performance by proactively delivering relevant content and interactions to employees.
“I am confident that executing a strategy underpinned by customer success, product innovation and operational excellence will accelerate SumTotal’s growth and solidify the company as a true market leader,” said Gulati.
Alarion Bank Announces Officer Promotions
Alarion Bank started 2014 off with a series of promotions and new team members.
Locally, Valorie Cason was promoted to vice president and regional branch manager for Alachua County. She brings 15 years of retail, consumer lending and mortgage lending experience to the area, where she will be responsible
for the oversight of all three Alachua County branches.
Matthew Braddy joined the company as its vice president and commercial production manager for Alachua County. A University of Florida graduate, Braddy brings more than 13 years of experience working in commercial lending and government guaranteed lending.
“We are fortunate to have a great breadth of available talent,” said Dwight Hart, Alarion’s president and chief executive officer. “(We) have aligned our organizational structure to maximize the skills that this experienced team brings to the table.”
