GAINESVILLE, FL – Mindtree (NSE: MINDTREE), a global information technology solutions company, today announced the successful first year of its U.S. Delivery Center in Gainesville, Florida. Mindtree has grown its presence in Gainesville significantly in just one year, establishing it as the go-to onshore source for agile and digital business expertise. The company is hosting a first birthday celebration to mark its success in adding over 100 jobs to the community, the addition of several Fortune 500 companies to its roster of clients and the upcoming expansion of the center in early 2014.

The celebrations begin on October 24th with an open house at the Gainesville center in Ayers Technology Plaza, 720 SW 2nd Avenue, South Tower from 4pm to 6pm followed by a southern-style soiree. On October 25th, Allie Young, Gartner Vice President and Distinguished Analyst, will speak about U.S. domestic sourcing for IT. Presentations on the future trends of agile and digital solutions by expert Mindtree Minds will follow. Partners such as representatives from The University of Florida’s Engineering Department will also be on hand discussing talent local to Gainesville and resources available in the community.
Mindtree’s first U.S. Delivery Center is located at Innovation Square, just blocks from The University of Florida. The center’s close proximity to UF has provided Mindtree with the advantage of convenient access to its students. It’s one of the reasons Mindtree enjoys a valuable partnership with the school’s engineering and computer science students. Mindtree continues to seek talent from the University of Florida as well as other universities across the country. The Gainesville center is well on its way to bringing a promised 400 jobs to Gainesville over the next five years.
