All in the Family Farm

A sprawling, scenic Williston farm has quickly become a premiere agritourism destination for families in the Greater Gainesville community. The Amber Brooke Farms philosophy is that nature replenishes us physically and spiritually. Their hope is that as the community experiences all the farm has to offer, they feel restored, rejuvenated, refreshed and recharged.
Visitors can retreat from the business of life and enjoy the beauty of picking fresh blueberries, strawberries, peaches, sunflowers and zinnias. Festivals, live music and children’s activities provide added entertainment throughout the year.
Family Connection
In 2020, longtime friends and business associates Michael Hill and Ryan Atwood formed a partnership by merging their agricultural operations and purchasing the former Red, White & Blue Farm.
Their vision for Amber Brooke Farms was to offer a space for families to have fun together and connect, away from the distractions of technology. Even the company name is a tribute to family –– Amber is the middle name of Ryan Atwood’s wife, Alison; Brooke is the first name of Michael Hill’s wife.
“We take so much pride in what we do from the crops that we grow, the grounds that we keep to the services that we provide,” said Brooke Hill. “Our goal is to offer exceptional services and create a safe, warm environment where you can make lifelong memories with loved ones.”
Farming Roots
As a little boy, Hill dreamed of having his own farm. The fourth-generation farmer feels it is the most gratifying profession there is. Atwood agrees, noting how grateful he is to spend his days outside in nature and growing crops.
They aim to bring the same fulfilling farming experience of harvesting happiness to the community. The Hills and Atwoods designed the property to be a special place where all generations can find local produce and appreciate the joys of picking fresh fruit and flowers themselves. Their vision is to cultivate a welcoming and nourishing space where guests can wander through fields of golden sunflowers and pluck juicy strawberries.
Seeing the timeless joy on children’s faces when they play in the dirt and harvest crops is worth the long hours and hard work.
“Our families believe in community and the benefits of a true, genuine connection,” said Alison Atwood. “Amber Brooke Farms is a place where family and friends can gather every season to revel in everyday celebrations.”
