Cade Museum Programs: Fun, Engaging, Electrifying

Patty Lipka, program coordinator at the Cade Museum of Creativity and Innovation, believes it is important for a teacher to be able to smile, be patient and use a fire extinguisher.  The hands-on classes at the Cade Museum allow kids to learn through trial and error, teaching kids to keep working on an experiment until they find the right method.  “The light bulb goes off,” Lipka said. “You see it, you feel it, the air is electrified when a child’s efforts are rewarded, and their experiment works.”
