The Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Sohl, Florida High Tech Corridor CEO, and Gil Levy, Vystar Credit Union Senior Vice President of Regional Community Relations, to its board of directors.

As CEO of the Florida Tech Corridor, Paul Sohl leads this economic development initiative of the University of Central Florida, University of South Florida, and University of Florida, that attracts and grows the high-tech industry in a 23-county region. In his role, Stohl facilitates collaboration between the three universities and their economic development partners, and oversees the organization’s programs, including stemCONNECT, which encourages K-12 students to pursue high-tech careers.
As a Rear Admiral in the U.S. Navy (Ret), Sohl brings more than three decades of service and leadership. He commanded the Navy’s Operational Test & Evaluation Force in Norfolk, Virginia, the Naval Aviation Fleet Readiness Center enterprise in Patuxent River, Maryland, the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division and Naval Test Wing Pacific in China Lake and Point Muga, California, and the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast in Jacksonville, Florida.
Gil Levy is Senior Vice President for Regional Community Relations at Vystar Credit Union and a seasoned financial analyst and business manager with decades of experience as a financial regulator. He serves on the Advisory Board at UNF Innovate at the Hub and is a longtime member of the Gainesville Chamber of Commerce, where he served as Chair of the Economic Development Committee in 2020 and Chair of the Board of the Chamber in 2021. Levy is a University of Puerto Rico graduate.
