Established in 2008 as the Ossi Law Firm, P.A. by founding shareholder Susie Ossi, the firm was renamed Ossi, Withers & Harrison, P.A. following an expansion in the summer of 2015 that saw the addition of shareholders Richard Withers and McCabe Harrison, both Gainesville natives who chose to remain in their hometown to continue their professional careers.
Since the transition to Ossi, Withers & Harrison, P.A., the firm has continued its growth with the addition of attorneys Nicolas Harvey, Caleb Knepper and John Dickhaus, all of whom bring additional experience and unique skill sets to the practice. In addition to being Florida licensed attorneys, four of the attorneys hold advanced degrees in tax law from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law.
While there are many reasons for the success of Ossi, Withers & Harrison, P.A., Ossi believes the most important component is the people.
“We have great people, both attorneys and staff, who really care about the work we do. We work hard to help our clients understand their legal issues so that they can make informed decisions and we provide the appropriate legal services in a professional, courteous and responsive manner,” Ossi said.
Building on Ossi’s sentiments, Withers believes that the firm’s success can be attributed to its culture and working environment. “Our firm has an open-door policy, allowing all attorneys and staff the opportunity to engage with one another and participate in the direction and growth of the firm.”
Attorney Knepper agrees. “There are few places that have an atmosphere as conducive to growing as an attorney. I can’t imagine a better work environment to grow in and to expand my own practice.”
