As a part of Leadership Gainesville Class 40, I learned about the struggles and strengths of my community and how I can take an active voice. My classmates and I had the opportunity to ride along with our city’s finest and stand next to steady hands in the operating room — to witness first-hand some of the talent that makes our community unique. My LG40 experience also introduced me to 39 individuals in our community that want to make Gainesville the best place to live and work. Together, we experienced emotional highs and lows, had some heated discussions about important issues affecting our community and made some friendships we hope will last a lifetime! I can’t promise your LG Class will be as amazing as mine, but I can promise an experience you’ll never forget. GO GREEN!
