Vice President of Operations, Info Tech, Inc.

Came to Greater Gainesville from Atlanta to attend

UF in 1990.  returned home to Gainesville in 2005.

What about Greater Gainesville stood out when comparing it to your other options?

The Greater Gainesville area has a unique identity; we have the best combination of a university city and a broader, family-oriented community. Our area is this wonderful southern intersection where we have a bit of the best of all worlds. But, it’s the people that stood out the most. Greater Gainesville has a rich fusion of people from all over, and those that choose to make this area home really commit to it. Giving back is a large part of our identity and one that we feel strongly about having our boys share in.

What is your favorite local food?

I could never pass up a filet from Embers Wood Grill or the Krispy Krunch sushi roll from Dragonfly. When we want to stay closer to home, our go-to is Blue Highway Pizza (everything is great) or Northwest Seafood. I can’t pick just one.

What is your favorite time of year and/or favorite weather conditions?

Autumn is definitely my favorite time of year. My morning run is crisp, but not cold, and the afternoon sky is just a bit more crystalline than any other time. Winter may be a close second, if only for the ability to send sunny pictures to our friends enduring freezing temperatures up North.
